Pay: $75/hr - $80/hr (DOE)
The Planet Group is seeking a Digital Application Analyst. The role will primarily support migrations of clinical server-based applications into Client supported infrastructure, including VMware-to-OpenShift migrations, vulnerability remediation, dependency analysis, connectivity and firewall coordination, post-migration validation, and advanced application troubleshooting. This is not an Epic analyst role and requires strong application-side technical knowledge rather than dedicated server engineering or DBA expertise.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years supporting healthcare clinical server-based applications in a production environment
- Application and server data migration experience, including clinical application migrations between data centers
- Experience migrating applications from VMware environments to OpenShift or similar container platforms
- Strong technical understanding of application dependencies, server specifications, connectivity, and firewall requirements
- Experience supporting clinical or imaging applications such as ophthalmology, dermatology, pulmonary, GI, or similar service lines
- Vulnerability remediation and technical troubleshooting experience
- Ability to coordinate with customers, application vendors, infrastructure, database, and other technical teams
- Ability to lead complex application migration activities without functioning as a dedicated server engineer or DBA
- Preferred Requirements:
- Zeiss FORUM or HEYEX
- Mirror
- Compass or SentrySuite
- Imaging application and clinical workflow experience
- Understanding of application-to-database dependencies
Responsibilities:
