Job Summary • Role: ServiceNow Developer (Custom App Development / AES) • Core Focus: Designing, building, and deploying scoped custom applications using App Engine Studio (AES) to modernize legacy workflows. Key Responsibilities • Custom Development: Build scoped applications in AES using templates, custom data models, and configurable workspaces. • Pro-Code Scripting: Apply JavaScript and Glide APIs (Script Includes, Business Rules) to extend low-code capabilities. • Automation & Integration: Create workflows via Flow Designer and connect third-party systems using IntegrationHub. • Governance: Review application requests, enforce platform guardrails, and manage deployments using App Engine Pipelines or Update Sets. Requirements & Certifications • Experience: 3+ years of ServiceNow development with a strong focus on custom/scoped apps. • Technical Skills: JavaScript, HTML/CSS, Flow Designer, IntegrationHub, and REST/SOAP APIs. • Certifications: ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) and Certified Application Developer (CAD).
