Shift: Friday-Sunday (6a-6p) / (6p-6a), Monday-Thursday (4p-2a)
No prior Digital Finishing experience required - Training will be provided.
The Machine Operator is responsible for producing printed orders in the most efficient manner, maximizing time while minimizing waste; setting up the press, including the installation of paper, cylinders, perf wheels/blades and ink to print quality product that meets production and customer specifications; making adjustments to speed, tension, ink, viscosities, etc. as needed to achieve high standards of quality printed product.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
- Sets up and prints label jobs on printing press with minimal waste in a specific priority order determined by the Press Supervisor
- Completes daily score sheets by recording the amount and type of work performed
- Cleans printing press at the end of each shift
- Maintains press and other equipment
- Performs other duties as assigned
