Job Summary

You will lead the design and silicon verification of digital ASIC functional blocks and subsystems, supporting pre-silicon firmware development through prototyping and co-development activities.

Responsibilities

  • Design and verify digital ASIC functional blocks and subsystems from RTL coding through silicon validation to ensure performance and reliability
  • Develop and execute RTL and gate-level verification to validate design correctness and functionality
  • Create and maintain synthesis scripts and optimize timing, power, and area using SDC and UPF constraint files
  • Prototype ASIC designs in FPGA or software models to support pre-silicon firmware development and verification efforts
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate design components and support product development lifecycle
  • Apply UVM verification methodology to enhance verification coverage and efficiency
  • Utilize Synopsys and Cadence EDA tools for simulation, synthesis, timing analysis, formal verification, and assertion-based verification
  • Program and debug using Verilog, SystemVerilog, Python, Perl, C, and C++ to support design and verification tasks
  • Apply deep knowledge of ARM and RISC-V microprocessor subsystems to optimize design integration and performance

Preferred competencies and qualifications

  • BS or MS degree in electrical engineering or equivalent with at least 3 years of IC design experience
