Position: Digital IT Intern

Location: Nxatel HQ, Menlyn, Pretoria

Duration: 6 to 12 months

About the Internship: Nxatel is offering a comprehensive Digital IT Internship, providing immersive, hands-on experience in various IT disciplines. Interns will rotate through different roles, allowing them to explore and develop a broad range of skills in the digital IT field.

Key Responsibilities:

• Customer Service:
  

  • Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, and chat.
    
  • Troubleshoot basic technical issues and escalate complex problems to the appropriate team.
    

• Scrum Work:
  

  • Assist in organizing and facilitating Scrum ceremonies, such as daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
    
  • Update Scrum boards and track the progress of sprints.
    

• Web Development:
  

  • Contribute to the development of web pages, focusing on creating and maintaining index pages.
    
  • Work on front-end development using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and React Native.
    

• Product QA Testing:
  

  • Execute test cases to identify bugs and ensure product quality.
    
  • Document and report findings to the development team for resolution.
    

• Technical Writing:
  

  • Create clear and concise how-to guides and FAQs for internal and external use.
    
  • Assist in developing technical documentation for new features and updates.
    

Requirements

Skills and Qualifications:

• Currently enrolled in an IT-related degree program or a recent graduate.
  
• Basic understanding of:
  • Python
    
  • React Native JS
    
  • HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
    
  • PHP
    
  • Linux (knowledge would be advantageous)
    
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
