Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure data quality, governance, and integrity to support trusted decision-making
- Enforce documentation standards, system compliance, and audit readiness
- Design and implement practical, value-driven digital solutions aligned to business needs
- Lead rollout of digital initiatives, including change enablement and user training
- Build and evolve scalable data platforms, enabling advanced analytics and AI adoption
- Align local systems with global platforms and oversee cloud data governance
- Optimise infrastructure by reducing redundancy and improving scalability and efficiency
- Drive security, disaster recovery, and departmental risk management practices
- Ensure compliance with SHE standards and performance requirements
- Manage stakeholders, service providers, and industry partnerships
- Lead team performance, recruitment, and capability development
- Mentor teams and promote digital and AI-driven transformation
- Bachelorâs degree in data engineering, Information Systems, or related field
- Business related Post Graduate Diploma NQF level 7 or higher
- 7+ years in Digital development and integration experience
- 7+ years in a Data Engineering or related technical role
- Previous management experience
