Digital Marketing Coordinator (004 - 1229)

Looking for Philippines-based candidates

Job Role: Digital Marketing Coordinator (004 - 1229)

Compensation range: $1,800 - $2,200 AUD / Monthly

Engagement type: Independent Contractor Agreement

Work Schedule: This role is expected to align with the AU business hours (approx. 9 AM - 5 PM, Monday to Friday) for collaboration, but as a contractor, you’ll have flexibility in how you manage your time.

Who We Are: At Hunt St, we help Australian companies hire top remote talent in the Philippines. For this role, you will be engaged directly by the client as an independent contractor. We are not an outsourcing agency. All of our roles are 100% remote so you'll be able to work from home.

Who The Client Is: A fast-growing financial services firm supporting small and medium-sized businesses with access to tailored funding solutions. The company focuses on delivering a streamlined and efficient lending experience by combining digital tools with a hands-on, relationship-driven approach. Their team is committed to helping businesses unlock growth opportunities through practical and accessible financing options, while maintaining a strong focus on service quality and operational excellence.

Role Overview: We are looking for a hands-on Digital Marketing Coordinator to build and manage a high-performing organic content engine across social media, email, website, and paid marketing channels.

You'll work closely with the Founders to transform industry knowledge, ideas, conversations, and business activities into engaging content that captures the attention of a defined professional audience and turns that attention into meaningful engagement, leads, and customers.

This role is ideal for someone who understands that effective content is more than simply posting consistently. You should be comfortable identifying strong content angles, creating compelling hooks and copy, repurposing long-form content into short-form assets, managing social media and email campaigns, and using performance data to continuously improve what we produce.

The ideal candidate is creative, organised, commercially minded, and confident working independently in a fast-paced remote environment aligned with Australian Eastern Time.

Key Responsibilities:

Content production

  • Find interesting content angles and prepare hooks and questions for weekly filming sessions with the founder
  • Identify the strongest moments in long-form footage (video, podcast episodes, webinars) and turn them into high-performing short-form content
  • Write hooks, captions and supporting copy
  • Maintain a steady pipeline of fresh ad creative for our paid campaigns, 4–6 new variants per month, working in collaboration with our media buyers
  • Create static content for organic and paid social
  • Repurpose successful ideas across formats, and develop new variations of what works
  • Maintain an organised asset library with clear naming and version control

Social media management

  • Own the content calendar and publishing schedule across LinkedIn, Instagram and Facebook, with LinkedIn as the priority channel (TikTok and YouTube are where we're heading as the engine matures)
  • Write platform-appropriate copy in Co.Credit's brand voice, speaking credibly to a professional broker audience
  • Grow our reach and engagement within the Australian broking community
  • Monitor and respond to comments and DMs within agreed response times, and help turn attention into DMs, leads and customers
  • Escalate complaints, product questions involving rates or credit terms, and anything sensitive to the internal team before responding

Email marketing

  • Plan, build and send email campaigns and automated flows (welcome sequences, nurture, product updates) to our broker audience
  • Manage list hygiene, segmentation and deliverability
  • Run ongoing A/B tests (subject lines, send times, content) and document learnings
  • Continuously improve performance against B2B benchmarks

Website

  • Keep website content current: publishing new content, updating copy, and maintaining landing pages for campaigns and lead magnets
  • Ensure content published on social and email has a home on the website where it should (articles, resources, downloads)
  • Build out new landing pages to support new products and ad campaigns

Performance & reporting

  • Track performance across all channels weekly: reach, engagement, audience growth, email metrics, and top-performing content
  • Identify patterns in what works and feed them back into the content process

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience in digital marketing, content marketing, social media, or a similar role.
  • Strong understanding of social media content creation, particularly LinkedIn and other professional/B2B platforms.
  • Excellent written English with the ability to create clear, engaging, and persuasive marketing copy.
  • Experience creating and repurposing short-form video content from longer-form material.
  • Experience managing social media content calendars and publishing schedules.
  • Familiarity with email marketing platforms, campaign creation, segmentation, and automation.
  • Basic understanding of website content management systems and landing page creation.
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing metrics and the ability to use data to improve content performance.
  • Creative mindset with a strong understanding of what makes content engaging and shareable.
  • Highly organised with excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple content projects simultaneously.
  • Comfortable working directly with senior stakeholders or founders and turning ideas into actionable content.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently in a remote environment.
  • Strong time management and communication skills.
  • Willingness to work hours aligned with Australian Eastern Time.

Nice to have:

  • Experience working in B2B, professional services, fintech, lending, finance, or another professional industry.
  • Experience with paid social advertising and developing ad creative variations.
  • Experience with video editing tools such as CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, Canva, or similar platforms.
  • Experience with LinkedIn-focused content strategy and audience growth.
  • Experience with marketing analytics, CRM, or marketing automation platforms.

Work Arrangement & Expectations:

This is a remote role that will be set up as an independent contractor engagement.

To ensure alignment and transparency, successful candidates will be expected to:

  • Disclose any existing ongoing roles or client work
  • Reflect this engagement on their LinkedIn profile (clearly marked as “Independent Contractor”)
