Our client is looking for a Digital Marketing Executive to join their growing marketing function and take ownership of a broad range of digital activity across the business.
This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys being close to the detail, managing the CRM, website, digital content, reporting and marketing automation, whilst also working with external agencies across SEO and digital activity.
The role would suit someone with a solid digital marketing background who is analytical, commercially minded and confident working across multiple digital platforms. Your background or sector is less important than having the right digital skill set and a willingness to get stuck in.
A key focus of the role will be CRM, website management and digital optimisation. You will work extensively with HubSpot, managing data, forms, automations and reporting, while supporting the wider business with insights and improvements across the digital customer journey.
You'll also take responsibility for keeping the website up to date, including uploading and managing products, creating and updating content and ensuring the site continues to deliver an effective user experience.
Alongside this, you'll be involved in the development of SEO and AI visibility, working with external digital agencies and keeping the business visible across both traditional search and the rapidly developing AI search landscape.
There will also be an element of ecommerce, with the website built on Magento, so previous experience of ecommerce or managing product-led websites would be advantageous.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and develop the company's HubSpot CRM, ensuring data is accurate, useful and effectively managed.
- Create and manage forms, workflows and automations within HubSpot.
- Analyse CRM and digital marketing data to identify trends, opportunities and areas for improvement.
- Produce and interpret regular digital and marketing reports, turning data into actionable insight.
- Manage and update the company website, ensuring content and information remains accurate and engaging.
- Upload and manage products and product information across the website.
- Support the ongoing development and optimisation of the website and wider digital customer journey.
- Work closely with external digital agencies across SEO, website and AI visibility.
- Support the development of the company's visibility within search engines and AI platforms.
- Monitor website performance, traffic, engagement and conversion activity.
- Support digital marketing campaigns and initiatives across the business.
- Contribute to ongoing improvements in SEO, content, website performance and digital user experience.
- Help ensure digital activity is aligned with wider commercial and marketing objectives.
- Work across the wider region, with the role predominantly focused on the English market.
Skills & Qualifications:
We're open-minded about your background. You could come from a B2B, B2C, ecommerce, manufacturing, professional services or another digital marketing environment.
What matters most is that you have genuine hands-on digital marketing experience and are comfortable working across CRM, websites, data and digital channels.
- Previous experience working in a digital marketing role.
- Strong hands-on experience using HubSpot or similar CRM systems.
- Experience managing or maintaining a website.
- Experience with CRM data, forms, workflows and marketing automation.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret marketing and website reports.
- Experience working with or alongside SEO agencies or digital agencies.
- An understanding of how businesses can improve their visibility within AI search and AI-generated results.
- Experience managing website content and/or uploading products.
- Some ecommerce experience, ideally with Magento or another ecommerce platform.
- A good understanding of SEO, website performance and digital marketing fundamentals.
- Excellent attention to detail and a methodical approach to managing digital activity.
- The confidence to work independently whilst also collaborating with internal teams and external agencies.
