Who We Are
Founded in 2015 and based in Chicago, IL, privately held Braviant Holdings, LLC is a leading provider of tech-enabled consumer credit products that combine breakthrough technology and cutting-edge machine learning to transform how people access credit online. Our next-generation approach to lending reduces credit barriers and creates a Path to Prime® — helping millions of underbanked consumers build credit history, reduce their cost of borrowing, and take control of their personal finances. Braviant has been named multiple times to the Inc. 5000 list of fastest growing private companies and has been recognized as a Best Place to Work.
We are a lean team of approximately 40 people who move fast and hold ourselves accountable for real outcomes. Everyone here rolls up their sleeves — including this role.
About the Role
We're looking for a strategic, execution-oriented Digital Marketing Manager to own Braviant's digital marketing channels end to end — the marketing website, search visibility, and paid acquisition — including the budget, roadmap, and results behind them. This is a high-ownership role for someone who's equally comfortable building a channel investment plan, tuning a paid social campaign, and making sure our brand shows up when people (and increasingly, AI assistants) search for answers about credit and lending.
You'll report to the Head of Product and own the strategy, budget, and performance of Braviant's digital marketing channels — not just executing tactically, but setting the roadmap, building the creative, tracking ROI, and reporting results to leadership. There is no in-house design or creative team, so you'll produce your own ad and landing page creative, and partner closely with Growth/Strategy, Data/Analytics, and Legal/Compliance (for regulatory review) to keep our digital presence sharp, fast, and effective at driving qualified traffic and conversions. The level for this role is flexible — depending on the experience of the candidate we hire, it may be filled as a Senior Digital Marketing Specialist or as a Digital Marketing Manager.
What You'll Do
- Own the digital marketing budget across website, SEO/GEO, and paid channels — monitor performance weekly and reallocate spend to maximize ROI and acquisition efficiency
- Develop and maintain a digital marketing roadmap that integrates website, search, and paid priorities with Braviant's broader acquisition goals
- Drive strategy to grow top-of-funnel traffic, improve conversion, and optimize the customer journey across digital channels
- Monitor KPIs and report outcomes, risks, and recommendations to the Head of Growth and leadership on a regular cadence
- Build and deliver clear reporting and presentations on digital marketing performance, strategy, and investment recommendations
- Own and maintain Braviant's marketing website in Webflow — pages, landing pages, forms, and overall site structure
- Manage day-to-day updates, new page builds, and QA to keep the site accurate, fast, and on-brand
- Design, write, and launch new landing pages, and continuously optimize existing ones for conversion
- Own on-page, technical, and content SEO — keyword strategy, site architecture, metadata, and internal linking
Monitor and improve visibility in traditional search (Google) and generative/AI search surfaces (ChatGPT, Perplexity, Google AI Overviews, etc.) - Track rankings, organic traffic, and search visibility; recommend and execute improvements
- Plan, launch, and optimize paid campaigns across Meta Ads and other digital ad platforms
- Design and produce the ad creative itself — static images, copy, and basic video/motion assets — for paid campaigns (no in-house design team to hand this off to)
- Manage budgets, audience targeting, creative testing, and bid strategy to hit acquisition cost and volume targets
- Identify and evaluate new digital acquisition channels and partnership/affiliate opportunities to diversify lead flow
- Route all ad creative, landing pages, and marketing copy through Legal and Compliance for regulatory review before launch
- Own GA4 instrumentation and reporting; track funnel performance, traffic sources, and conversion rates
- Build and maintain dashboards that give the Growth and Marketing teams a clear read on channel performance
- Turn data into recommendations — what to scale, what to fix, and what to test next
Cross-Functional Partnership
- Work closely with the Head of Product to align digital marketing priorities with broader acquisition goals
- Partner with Data/Analytics to translate performance data into actionable insights and clear recommendations
- Partner with Legal and Compliance on regulatory review of all marketing creative, campaigns, and site content before publishing
- Stay at the forefront of SEO, GEO, paid media, and AI-driven marketing technology, applying best practices to drive efficiency and growth
What We're Looking For
Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field
- 4+ years of digital marketing experience with hands-on ownership of a marketing website, SEO, and paid ad campaigns (years flexible — we're open to leveling this role up or down based on candidate strength)
- Experience owning a marketing budget and reporting on ROI, CAC, or similar performance metrics to leadership
- Experience in financial services, fintech, or another regulated industry a plus
- Track record of managing a marketing site and paid channels with measurable results (traffic, conversion, cost per acquisition)
- Hands-on experience with Webflow or a comparable CMS
- Strong command of GA4 for tracking and reporting
- Experience managing paid campaigns in Meta Ads Manager; familiarity with Google Ads a plus
- Working knowledge of SEO tools (e.g., Ahrefs, SEMrush, Google Search Console) and current SEO/GEO best practices
- Comfortable designing ad and landing page creative independently using tools like Canva, Figma, or Adobe Express — this role has no in-house design support
- Comfortable with basic HTML/CSS for website edits
- Highly analytical, with the ability to turn complex performance data into clear, decision-ready reporting for leadership
- Hands-on familiarity with AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini) for research, content, and analysis — you use these daily, not occasionally
- Experience with marketing automation and email platforms
- Experience with A/B testing and experimentation
- Comfortable owning a broad, cross-functional scope on a lean team, from strategy down to hands-on execution
- Bias toward action — you ship, measure, and iterate rather than over-engineering upfront
- Naturally curious about performance data and willing to dig until you have an answer you trust
- Energized by ambiguity and rapid change, with a natural ability to bring clarity, momentum, and structure to evolving priorities
- Collaborative and low-ego — you work well with Legal, Compliance, and Growth
- Actively experiments with AI tools to work faster and smarter
- Familiarity with consumer lending or credit marketing compliance requirements, including working with Legal/Compliance on regulatory ad review
Benefits & Perks
Compensation at Braviant is competitive and commensurate with experience. Details will be discussed with qualified candidates during the interview process. In addition, we provide:
- Comprehensive healthcare including medical, dental, and vision coverage
- Generous paid time off, including PTO, sick time, and 13 company holidays
- 401(k) with company contribution
- Participation in annual discretionary bonus plan
- Regular team and company gatherings
