Type of contract: 1-year assignment
International Division (InDi) develops Royal Canin across approximately 90 markets through a network of importers. This 12-month transformation mission exists to establish a scalable Media operating model and governance, support the first wave of e-commerce acceleration, and build sustainable internal Digital capability.
What are we looking for?
5+ years of experience in Digital Marketing, Media, e-commerce or digital transformation in a B2C environment.
Degree in Marketing, Business, Digital or a related field; equivalent relevant experience is also valued.
Fluent English; additional languages are an advantage.
Experience in a local market, regional role or importer/distributor model is a strong plus.
Proven experience designing and implementing Media strategy, governance and operating models.
Strong understanding of paid Media planning, activation, agency management, performance measurement and optimization.
Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional transformation and deliver through stakeholders without direct authority.
Experience coaching, transferring knowledge and building sustainable capability in others.
Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple markets, priorities and maturity levels.
Excellent communication, facilitation and influencing skills, with a pragmatic and action-oriented mindset.
Comfort working in a matrixed, multicultural and highly decentralized environment.
What will be your key responsibilities?
1. Build the Indi Media operating model and governance
• Translate the Indi Digital ambition into a pragmatic roadmap, clear priorities and a 12-month delivery plan.
• Define the Media operating model across Indi, Hubs, importers, agencies, with the support of RGM Demand Team
• Establish governance for importer-owned or importer-managed digital and social channels, including roles, decision rights, processes, access, compliance and escalation routes.
• Set agency ways of working, campaign processes, performance routines and KPI standards, while ensuring consistent application of Royal Canin brand and digital governance.
2. Drive focused Media acceleration
• Deploy Calorie Conversion Campaign in InDi priority markets in lign with the set up identified
• Lead the planning, activation and optimization of priority paid Media campaigns, working with Hubs, importers and agency partners.
• Build a simple performance framework and turn results into reusable benchmarks, playbooks and recommendations.
3. Support the first e-commerce acceleration initiatives & Affordability campaign deployment
• Partner with priority markets to define focused e-commerce acceleration plans, with Vietnam as an initial priority and make the link between Hubs Team & RGM Team to ensure governance.
• Adapt and deploy the existing Kazakhstan Affordability Campaign and chatbot in selected InDi markets, leveraging proven assets and learnings to accelerate rollout.
4. Provide targeted support to Hubs and markets
• Provide additional hands-on support to Hub MENA and Hub LATAM while our two internal associates progressively refocus on Hub Eurasia and Hub Africa.
• Indirect Management of the 2 Internal Associantes supporting Hub Eurasia & Hub Africa
• Act as the central point of contact on mission priorities, aligning Hubs, importers, Regional and Global teams and removing delivery roadblocks.
5. Build capability and transfer ownership
• Prepare for the role for the future set up
• Support two Hubs roles while dividing central responsibilities according to expertise.
• Use co-leadership, coaching, practical learning, playbooks and progressive delegation, supported by formal readiness reviews and a structured handover.
6. Manage the transformation roadmap
• Maintain clear milestones, risks and stakeholder updates, measuring success through both business delivery and successor readiness.
