Job Description: Google Ads Specialist (Digital Marketing)


Position Overview:


We are seeking a results-driven Google Ads Specialist to plan, execute, optimize, and scale paid search and display campaigns across Google Ads. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, hands-on experience managing advertising budgets, and a proven track record of driving high-quality leads, conversions, and return on ad spend (ROAS).


Key ResponsibilitiesCampaign Strategy & Management:

  • Plan, create, and manage Google Ads campaigns across Search, Display, Performance Max, YouTube, Demand Gen, and Remarketing.

  • Conduct keyword research and audience analysis to identify growth opportunities.

  • Develop campaign structures aligned with business goals and customer journeys.

  • Manage daily campaign operations, including budget allocation, bid adjustments, and audience targeting.

Performance Optimization

  • Monitor campaign performance and optimize for key metrics such as CTR, CPC, CPA, Conversion Rate, ROAS, and Quality Score.

  • Perform A/B testing on ad copy, landing pages, creatives, and bidding strategies.

  • Identify and implement opportunities to improve conversion rates and reduce acquisition costs.

  • Analyze search term reports and implement negative keyword strategies.

Tracking & Analytics

  • Set up and maintain conversion tracking using Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics 4 (GA4), and Google Ads.

  • Monitor attribution models and conversion paths to improve campaign effectiveness.

  • Use AI & Build dashboards and generate regular performance reports with actionable insights.

  • Ensure data accuracy and tracking integrity across campaigns.

Landing Page & Funnel Optimization

  • Collaborate with design, content, and development teams to improve landing page performance.

  • Recommend CRO (Conversion Rate Optimization) initiatives based on user behavior and campaign data.

  • Ensure consistency between ad messaging and landing page experience.

Market & Competitor Analysis

  • Conduct competitor research and benchmark campaign performance against industry standards.

  • Stay updated on Google Ads platform changes, automation features, and digital marketing trends.

  • Identify new opportunities for audience targeting, campaign expansion, and market penetration.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.

  • 2–5 years of hands-on experience managing Google Ads campaigns.

  • Strong understanding of Search, Display, Performance Max, YouTube Ads, and Remarketing.

  • Experience with Google Analytics 4, Google Tag Manager, and conversion tracking.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets for data analysis.

  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Google Ads Certifications.

  • Experience with CRM integrations and lead management systems.

  • Knowledge of SEM principles and landing page optimization.

  • Experience managing monthly ad budgets of ₹10 lakhs+/month or equivalent.

  • Familiarity with tools such as SEMrush, Ahrefs, Looker Studio, Hotjar, or similar platforms.

  • Familiarity with AI Tools like Claude for execution, analysis and automation of regular tasks.
