Digital Marketing Strategist

Salary: $8 – $9 per hour

Job Summary:

We're mapping out our next growth phase with a Marketing Strategist who knows GoHighLevel to lead email and SMS marketing for a growing health and wellness practice. You will segment our contact list based on each person's past interaction with the business, design reactivation campaigns for inactive clients and leads, and plan regular communications that keep us top of mind. Strategy comes first in this role. We need a true digital marketer who can advise on what to send and why, write the campaigns, and then run them in GoHighLevel.

Key Responsibilities:

- Segment our database of 4,000+ contacts by past interaction with the business, such as visit history, recent activity, and leads who never booked

- Develop reactivation strategies that bring inactive clients and unconverted leads back for appointments

- Advise the owner on campaign strategy, including messaging, timing, frequency, and sequence

- Plan and produce regular email and SMS communications that build long-term awareness and keep the practice top of mind

- Write campaign copy in collaboration with the owner, who gives input and final approval

- Execute and schedule campaigns in GoHighLevel

- Recommend and build funnels or landing pages in GoHighLevel wherever they would improve results

- Repurpose an existing library of 100+ educational videos into email content

- Track campaign performance, including opens, replies, and bookings, and refine the strategy based on results

- Bring fresh ideas to grow bookings through owned channels and reduce reliance on paid ads

Mandatory Skills:

- Proven experience as a digital marketer planning and running email and SMS marketing strategy, not just technical setup

- Strong skills in segmenting customer lists by past behavior and engagement

- Demonstrated experience with reactivation or win-back campaigns

- Excellent English copywriting skills for email and SMS

- Experience planning ongoing nurture programs and newsletter content calendars

- Working knowledge of GoHighLevel campaigns, workflows, and funnels

- Able to clearly explain the reasoning behind strategic recommendations

- Comfortable analyzing campaign results and using data to guide decisions

- Diligent, precise, and able to operate independently

- Strong communication skills

Preferred Skills:

- Experience marketing healthcare, wellness, or local service businesses

- Funnel and landing page building experience in GoHighLevel

- Understanding of email deliverability and list hygiene

- Familiarity with Facebook and Instagram ad lead funnels

- Knowledge of local SEO and AI search visibility (GEO)

- Experience repurposing video content into email content
