Manager of Digital Products
Overview:
Under the guidance of the VP of Digital Products, the Manager of Digital Products will be responsible for managing projects, implementation, day-to-day operations, and training of all Digital Products and Services, including but not limited to Online Banking, Mobile Banking, Bill Pay, Remote Deposit Capture (RDC), Mobile Deposit, Person-to-Person payments, Online ACH Origination, and other future services. This role ensures the delivery of innovative, secure, and user-friendly digital banking solutions that meet the needs of members. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in digital banking, excellent leadership skills, and a passion for driving digital transformation.
Department Oversight
Project Management: Oversee the lifecycle of projects from concept to launch, ensuring timely delivery and quality.
Operations Management: Lead the digital products team to meet service-level targets. Includes support, escalations, procedures, workflow, and daily reporting.
Strategic Execution: Drive strategic digital initiatives and manage cross-functional collaboration.
Vendor Management: Build and maintain effective relationships with internal stakeholders and external technology vendors.
Process Improvement: Optimize team efficiency through workflow improvements and automation.
Data Analysis: Analyze market trends and user data to guide development of digital services.
Compliance: Collaborate with compliance to ensure regulatory standards are met.
Performance Monitoring: Track and improve digital product performance.
Training: Deliver staff training and support for digital product rollouts.
Problem Solving: Exhibit strong analytical skills in a fast-paced environment.
Member Experience: Maintain a strong commitment to delivering excellent user experiences.
Staff Development
Strategic Direction: Identify and implement opportunities to enhance digital tools for staff and members.
Leadership: Mentor and coach a results-driven team; implement staff training programs.
Collaboration: Foster cross-departmental communication and effective supervision.
Stay compliant with all relevant financial services regulations (e.g., BSA, OFAC, AML, CFPB, NCUA, state/federal laws).
Promote a problem-solving mindset within the digital services team.
Stay engaged in continuing education to stay current with digital trends.
Develop and revise department workflows and documentation as needed.
Digital Expertise: Strong experience in online/mobile banking platforms and digital payments.
Communication: Clear, professional written and verbal communication skills.
Digital Leadership: Ability to lead digital transformation initiatives.
Innovation: Cultivate a culture of innovation in digital banking services.
Data Proficiency: Use data tools to analyze performance and guide strategy.
Risk & Cybersecurity: Understand and address digital risks and security threats.
Compliance Knowledge: Familiar with regulatory frameworks affecting digital finance.
Execute all responsibilities as described above.
Ability to sit/stand for long durations.
Handle confidential information appropriately.
Lift up to 30 pounds as necessary.
Bachelor’s degree in business, IT, marketing, information science, or related field (or equivalent experience).
3–5 years’ experience in digital banking, with 1–3 years in a leadership role.
Excellent communication and active listening skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
Experience with fraud prevention, risk management, and compliance.
Familiarity with digital banking platforms preferred.
At least 1–3 years of management experience.

CompensationSalary will be based on skills, experience, and internal equity, typically starting between the minimum and midpoint of the range.
