Digital Product Owner
Summary
Own and evolve a charity’s community engagement platform, prioritizing features, managing CRM integrations, and guiding agile delivery to boost user adoption and impact.
Salary: £61,000 - 90,000 per year
Requirements:- Proven experience delivering CRM-enabled digital products end to end, including vision, roadmap, backlog, agile delivery and post-launch improvement
- Strong data literacy and UX awareness, with a solid grasp of CRM data, integrations and customer lifecycle principles
- Confident stakeholder management and facilitation skills, with the ability to balance strategic thinking and delivery detail
- Experience working with cross-functional teams, including CRM, business analysts, designers, developers and researchers
- Desirable: charity or not-for-profit sector experience
- Desirable: Microsoft Dynamics or CRM integration knowledge
- Desirable: experience with community-, membership- or engagement-focused products
- Desirable: familiarity with Jira, Confluence or Azure DevOps
- We will develop and maintain the product vision and roadmap for the platform and related community experiences
- We will translate user needs, stakeholder feedback, CRM requirements and business processes into clear briefs, user stories, acceptance criteria and prioritised backlog items
- We will work with cross-functional teams to define scope, manage risks and support agile delivery, testing, release readiness and continuous improvement
- We will use CRM data, user insight and performance measures to improve journeys, adoption, data quality and benefits realisation
- We will lead stakeholder workshops and communications, helping teams understand delivery choices, dependencies and impacts
- We will champion CRM-enabled change across the organisation through clear documentation, training support, feedback loops and adoption activity

We are a well established national charity leading a community engagement platform through an exciting period of growth as part of a major multi-year UK-wide programme supported by the National Lottery Community Fund, helping thousands of local community groups across the UK. This is a maternity cover role on a 12 month fixed-term contract, offered on a hybrid basis with four days a week worked and one day a week in the office in Surrey or London. The salary is circa £65,000 to £71,000 pro rata, equivalent to circa £52,000 to £57,000 for four days a week. This is a fantastic opportunity to shape a high-impact digital product at the heart of a nationally significant community programme.
