Digital Transformation Engineer (Yishun)

JOB DESCRIPTION:
Department: Digital Transformation
Reports to: Department Manager
Functional relationships:
- Business Units: Sales, Marketing, and production in ASEAN and India region
- Singapore Administration division group
- Headquarter Information System and Business Engineering division group
POSITION PROFILE:
This position is to drive digital transformation with business strategy for ASEAN and India region.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
- Align the policy, strategy, and direction with the global strategy through close communication with the other management in Japan HQ and the other group companies.
- Customize the global digital transformation policy headed by Japan HQ, including any local requirements to implement and permeate to the ASEAN and India region
- Lead project team to handle the digital transformation projects with the other ASEAN IT members
- Responsible for high-quality, consistently clear, and regular communications to provide our IT services to all business units in the ASEAN and India region
- Embrace operational excellence at all levels of IT services and operations in the ASEAN and India region
Ability/Competency required:
- Bachelor's degree or master's degree in information technology, computer science, business information system, engineering or a related field.
- Minimum three years of working experience in the information technology field
- Experience in general IT governance (corporate management, technology evaluation, vendor management, program planning)
- Fluent Japanese speaking & writing and business-level English speaking & writing skills to support communication with Japan and other overseas affiliates
- Relevant certifications (e.g., Information Technology Infrastructure Library, Certified Information Security, or Project Management Professional) are preferable
- Logical thinking, meticulousness, and good attention to detail
- Proactive attitude and strong communication skills, conceptual skills, and interpersonal skills
