At Pyramid Healthcare New River Valley Inpatient in Radford we specialize in Substance Use Disorder Treatment. Pyramid Healthcare Inc. has been in operations since 1999 and currently operate over 80 programs in 8 different states, offering a full continuum of high-quality behavioral health care for individuals suffering from substance use disorders, mental health concerns, and other behavioral health issues.
The Dining Services Manager is responsible for managing all activities of the food service department and its resources in accordance with facility policies and procedures, departmental standards, and regulatory requirements. The Dining Services Manager is responsible for the delivery of high quality dining services and for maintaining the dining services department in a clean, safe and sanitary manner.

- Salary range: $60K - $67K/year
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Plans, directs, coordinates and controls the resources of the food service department.
- Oversees and participates in the preparation of the production, cooking, portioning and serving of meals, per standardized menus and recipes.
- Develops and executes strategies to achieve department and organizational goals.
- Monitors and analyzes the performance of the department through analysis of data and trends.
- Recruit, hire, train, counsel, schedule and manage the dining services staff.
- Completes and submits a monthly dining department operations report and other reporting as requested.
- Collaborates routinely with the dietitian to ensure that client needs are met and modified diets are served accurately.
- Manages purchasing, inventory and labor while monitoring costs and maintaining budgetary parameters.
- Other duties as assigned.
Education, Licensure, & Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent required. Equivalent experience may be considered in lieu of education and includes a minimum of two years of experience in food service operations within healthcare facilities, restaurants, schools, or similar environments.
- Associate’s degree or higher from an accredited institution in Food Service Management, Culinary Arts, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience may be considered.
- Minimum one year of prior food service supervisory experience preferred.
- ServSafe certification required or ability to obtain certification upon hire.
