Diocesan Schools Analyst
St. Thomas Aquinas Parish School Diocesan Schools Analyst
- Analyze school budgets (within the context of the parish budgets), enrollment trends, tuition models, and financial performance to support strategic planning.
- Administer approximately $1 million annually in diocesan tuition assistance grants and evaluate program effectiveness.
- Oversee the diocesan Per Pupil Funding Model, which distributes more than $5 million annually to Catholic schools.
- Develop financial forecasts, dashboards, and reports for diocesan leadership.
- Conduct school viability and sustainability analyses, including enrollment, demographic, and financial assessments.
- Support compliance with state and federal funding requirements and assist with reporting and audits.
- Maintain data systems, perform benchmarking analyses, and present findings to stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Three or more years of experience in financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, accounting, or business planning.
- Advanced Excel skills and strong analytical, communication, and project management abilities.
- CPA, MBA, Master’s degree, or related professional certification.
- Experience in Catholic schools, educational finance, nonprofit finance, or diocesan administration.
- Experience with FACTS Financial Aid Management, Tuition Management, and related student information systems.
- Proficiency with Microsoft 365 applications, Power BI, and data analytics tools.
