- Financial Leadership:
Develop and execute financial strategies that align with the company's goals and support its growth objectives.
Provide strategic advice to the executive management team on financial planning and performance.
- Budgeting and Forecasting:
Oversee the preparation and management of annual budgets and forecasts, ensuring alignment with operational plans.
Analyze financial performance against budgets and forecasts, providing insights and recommendations.
- Financial Reporting and Analysis:
Prepare and present comprehensive financial reports, including profit and loss statements, cash flow analyses, and balance sheets for internal and external stakeholders.
Conduct variance analysis and identify areas for improvement in financial performance across divisions.
- Strategic Planning:
Collaborate with departmental heads to develop financial models and performance metrics that support long-term strategic planning.
Monitor industry trends and economic conditions to inform strategic decisions.
- Compliance and Governance:
Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, including tax obligations and industry-specific regulations for hospitality.
Establish and monitor internal controls to mitigate financial risks and protect company assets.
- Cash Flow Management:
Oversee cash flow management to ensure adequate liquidity, effective working capital management, and optimal funding strategies.
Work with the Controller to streamline accounts receivable and payable processes for improved cash management.
- Investment Management:
Analyze and evaluate potential investment opportunities, acquisitions, and financing arrangements in line with company goals.
Manage relationships with financial institutions and external stakeholders.
- Team Leadership and Development:
Lead and mentor the finance team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
Encourage collaboration between finance and operational teams to increase financial literacy and performance.
Lead and mentor the finance and IT teams, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development. The IT Manager reports directly to this position.
- Performance Measurement:
Develop and implement KPIs and performance metrics that align with the company's strategic objectives.
Regularly report on financial health and operational performance to the executive team and board of directors.

Provide leadership and strategic direction for the IT department.
Supervise the IT Manager, who reports directly to the Director of Finance, ensuring alignment between technology investments and company objectives.
Oversee IT budgeting, infrastructure planning, and data security compliance.
Education, Skills & Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field; Master’s degree or CPA designation is preferred.
Minimum of 10 years of progressive financial leadership experience, ideally within the hospitality or service industry.
Financial Expertise:
Proven experience in financial planning, analysis, and management, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
IT Management:
Experience in overseeing IT operations, including knowledge of IT infrastructure, systems integration, and technology project management.
Strategic Thinking:
Ability to develop and implement long-term financial strategies that align with technology initiatives and business goals.
Leadership Skills:
Strong leadership capabilities to manage and mentor both finance and IT teams, fostering collaboration and innovation.
Project Management:
Proficiency in project management methodologies to oversee technology projects and ensure they are delivered on time and within budget.
Analytical Skills:
Strong analytical skills to evaluate technology investments and their impact on financial performance.
Communication Skills:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively communicate financial and IT strategies to stakeholders at all levels.
Regulatory Knowledge:
Familiarity with relevant financial regulations and IT compliance standards, including data protection and cybersecurity regulations.
