Dir Nursing Unit-Crestwood Medical Center-Intensive Care Unit-FT-1st shift

Overview

He/She is responsible for all functions within the unit(s) and the assigned staff. The Director plans, organizes, coordinates, implements and evaluates the delivery of care within the assigned service. He/She is responsible for participating in budgetary development. He/She provides direction, support and guidance to all staff members and aids in their clinical and professional development. He/She has 24 hour accountability

Qualifications

Education:

Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required.

BSN preferred

Experience:

• Minimum five years clinical experience in area of specialty or related clinical field
• Evidence of excellent interpersonal skills, experience in quality improvement, self directed, excellent time management and

Problem solving skills.

Licenses/Certificates:

- RN licensure in the state of Alabama

- Current BLS
