Overall Function:

Aids program clients daily with the implementing of Individual Support Plans.

Essential Functions:

• Provides hands-on instruction to client to implement Individual Support Plans and client goal achievement.
• Conducts recreational and social activities with individuals, as assigned.
• Participates in regular staff training to develop knowledge and skills necessary to assist individuals.
• Maintains proper condition, cleanliness, and safety of residential site and vehicle.
• Mentors incoming Direct Support Professionals and provides assistance to Site Monitors in training of new employees.
• Responds appropriately to emergency situations.
• Other duties as required.
• Adheres to all policies, laws, regulations and codes of ethics and confidentiality as outlined by federal and state laws, and agency policies and procedures.
