At New Hope, we are currently hiring Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to assist individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in living their best lives — both at home and in the community.

Weekend Shifts Available:
Working 2 weekends on, 1 weekend off, Saturday and Sunday

What You’ll Do:

• Assist individuals with daily living needs such as cooking, dressing, personal hygiene, and home care

• Use ceiling-mounted electric Hoyer lifts to help individuals in and out of wheelchairs as needed

• Support individuals in participating in community life through activities like dining out, shopping, visiting friends, and attending local events

• Provide compassionate care and build lasting, supportive relationship

What We’re Looking For:

• Genuine interest in supporting people to live independent, fulfilling lives

• Strong interpersonal, communication, and documentation skills

• Ability to work effectively with individuals served, team members, families, and the community

• Must be 16 years of age or older (for campus home roles)

• Ability to pass a physical exam (required for lifting support)

• Desire to learn new skills and grow professionally
