ARISE is seeking a Direct Support Professional in Baldwinsville, near the Radisson community.

BACK UP STAFF - Shifts are everyday 8am to 4pm and 4pm to 10pm

Applicants don't have to be available for all shifts, In this role you will be trained and be added to her list of back up staff and will be called when an open shift is available.

She requires total assistance with activities of daily life due to a physical disability and always utilizes an electric wheelchair both in the home and community. The individual is looking for reliable, compassionate and responsible staff to assist her with maintaining her independence both at home and in the community. Some responsibilities include... assisting with Personal Care, Light housekeeping, meal preparation, shopping, taking her to some medical appointments and other activities in the community.

She has an indoor cat that lives in the home and is very important to her. She is a huge SU fan, lover of sports and enjoys baking.

New hires will have training shifts on transfers using an electric sit-to-stand/track system. New hires must have a driver's license, as you will be driving her modified minivan in the community.

The current pay rate is $21.50
