1:1 Part-Time Support Staff Needed – Cazenovia, NY (GC-JB)

A 37-year-old male in the Cazenovia area is looking for a Direct Support Professional to assist him with advocating for himself, participating in fun activities, learning how to live independently and receive assistance on communication skills.

He enjoys meeting new people, participating in fun, interactive activities and getting out into the community more often.

The ideal candidate is creative and engaging, active and patient, and willing to travel to different locations in the community. The ideal candidate must be open to helping him explore new activities and interests, as well as helping him feel more comfortable learning new independent skills.

This is a part-time position, but additional hours are available with other people receiving services.

Hours and days of work: Start time would be after 4pm, unless weekends. Days are flexible based on DSP availability.

Starting pay: Starting pay is $19.25/hour and increases with years of relevant experience.
