Self-Direction DSP - Bridgeport Ny Area (Job #HH-HA)

Indera (formerly ARISE/EFR)is seeking a Direct Support Professional (DSP) to work with a nonverbal young man 26 yrs in the Bridgeport, NY area. We are looking for a dedicated individual who is energetic, open-minded, respectful and dedicated staff to engage in activities with him in the community.

The DSP will provide Respite and assist him with personal care tasks. As well as assist him while out in the community. He also enjoys going to parks to walk.

Hours/Days Flexible – 9am-5pm- Mon, Wed, Sat, Sun

Looking for roughly 25 hours per week Respite services at $22.50 per hour.

We are seeking individuals who are reliable, patient, enthusiastic, and able to work independently. Prior experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities. Reliable transportation is required. A background check, fingerprinting, and DMV record check will be completed prior to hire through the non‑profit agency.
