Direct Support Professional (JM)

Looking for a direct support provider to work 32 hours weekly Tuesday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM for a young man with Down syndrome - $20/hr.
- Provide support getting ready in the morning
- Assist client in organizing and maintaining his room and his collection of movies
- Provide transportation to jobs and community activities
- Provide assistance working together in completing his jobs
- Client volunteers at the Manchester Library, works part time at TJ Maxx
- Client swims at the YMCA and likes shopping
- He needs someone who is patient who will encourage him to be independent
- Some personal care required during the day
Education and Experience
· High School diploma or equivalent
· A minimum of 1 year in human services or health care required
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and database systems
· Clean criminal, motor vehicle and Bureau of Elderly and Adult Services background checks
· Valid driver’s license, 100,000/300,000 liability insurance and reliable vehicle.
