Direct Support Professional – Support an Active Young Man

Location – Baldwinsville

Indera formerly known as ARISE/EFR is seeking a Direct Support Professional to support a young man who loves fitness and living an active lifestyle. He enjoys spending time at the gym, using exercise equipment, and working toward his fitness goals.

Responsibilities

• Participate in activities alongside him
• Assist with developing independent living skills
• Encourage communication and help build social skills
• Create a positive, motivating, and engaging environment that helps him reach his personal goals

Hours Available: Monday – Friday, 3pm – 5pm

Pay Rate: $22 / hour

Background check, fingerprinting, and DMV record check will be conducted prior to hire by the non-profit agency.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver's license
• Effective communication and organizational skills required
• Reliable transportation
• Experience working with people with Developmental Disabilities preferred
• Must have technology available to download multiple apps for use in the community and abide by Indera’s technology policy.
