:1 Part-Time Support Staff Needed – Camillus NY (KF – TK)

A 47 year old female in Camillus NY is looking for a Direct Support Professional to assist her with working further developing her social skills, working on money management and budgeting, and assistance with finding various activities in her community that she may enjoy. She is a very loving person and has a great sense of humor. She is able to navigate the community by using the call-a-bus service to go to her place of choice, requiring DSP assistance. When she is able, she also enjoys going shopping at various locations, as well as engaging in hobbies like the zoo and going to the casino.

The ideal candidate is engaging, outgoing, and a social individual who enjoys building meaningful relationships and supporting others in achieving greater independence. This person should be reliable, encouraging, and have a good sense of humor. The ideal candidate should be willing to utilize Call-A-Bus and other available public transportation services to support her participation in community-based activities and help her access the places and experiences she enjoys.

This is a part-time position, but additional hours are available with other people receiving services at the agency.

Hours and days of work: Thursdays from 9:30a – 1:30p

Starting pay is $18.50/hour and increases with years of experience
