1:1 Part-Time Support Staff Needed – Syracuse, NY (MvS- SL)

A 38-year-old women in the Syracuse area is looking for a Direct Support Professional to assist her with, opportunities for exercise, opportunities for relaxation, assistance with making healthy food choices and to find more activities in the community.

She spends most of her day at home with her mom, staying busy with crafts and going places with her. She also enjoys going to Walmart for shopping and using the opportunity to walk for exercise. She enjoys arts and crafts, listening to music, painting, puzzles and Play-Doh. She is looking to try new activities and events provided by Indera.

The ideal candidate is creative and engaging, active and patient, and willing to travel to different locations. The ideal candidate must also be willing to provide personal care when needed. The ideal candidate must be willing to learn different non- verbal communication, like facial expression and body language.

This is a part-time position, but additional hours are available with other people receiving services at the agency.

Hours and days of work: Monday-Friday 12pm-11pm, Shifts can vary with days and time length. Saturday and Sundays Noon -11pm.

Starting pay is $19.25 for Community Hab and increases with years of relevant experience.
