Corry Counseling of LECOM Health is seeking applicants for a Part-Time DSP position who can provide flexible support across all shifts.
In this role, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals by promoting independence, minimizing challenging behaviors, and fostering community involvement. Your responsibilities will include assisting with daily living activities, implementing support plans, and helping the individual achieve personal goals that reflect their dreams and aspirations.

Position salary starts at $20.00 per hour
This position offers a $1500 sign-on bonus, with $750 paid after 30 days, and $750 after 90.
Responsibilities:
· Supports individual in all aspects of daily living, providing only the necessary assistance to promote maximum independence and self-sufficiency
· Carries out directives of supervisor with regards to home management, Adult Daily Living Skills, Self-Help Skills and Community involvement.
· Collaborates with colleagues, supervisors, and healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans while building valuable skills in a supportive environment.
· Carries out Individualized Support Plans (ISP) to ensure personalized care and goal achievement.
· Follows all agency policies, procedures and protocols regarding safety in all environments that is healthy, safe, peaceful and comfortable always.
· Accurately completes daily documentation in compliance with all regulations and guidelines.
· Adheres to PA State Regulations as established in 6400 regs.
· Attends team meetings as required.
· Completes all training in a timely manner.
Requirements:
- A high school diploma or GED
Preferred Experience:
- Experience working as a Direct Support Professional (DSP) or providing services to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD).
- Experience with medication administration and/or certification
Additional Requirements:
- Must have a valid driver’s license, current insurance coverage and pass a motor vehicle background check.
- Pass the PA Criminal Background and Physical/Drug Testing
- Mandated Reporter and Safety Care Training within 30 days of hire.
- Able to lift/or carry up to 50 pounds
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
