1:1 Part-Time Support Staff Needed – North Syracuse, NY (SSMC-BP)

A 47 year old male in the North Syracuse area is looking for a Direct Support Professional to assist him with positive communication skills, independent living skills and encouragement to complete his activities of daily living.

He enjoys going to baseball games, taking care of his home, gardening and going for walks. He is a very social person and enjoys spending time with others, especially his wife and other family members.

The ideal candidate is creative, engaging, and patient. The ideal candidate must also be willing to navigate possible verbal outbursts from the individual. Candidate must be OK with smoking and pets.

This is a part-time position, but additional hours may be available with other people receiving services at the agency.

Schedule:

Mondays: 8:00am-1:00pm

Wednesdays: 8:00am-4:00pm

Thursdays: 12:00pm-5:00pm

Fridays: 8:00am-1:00pm

Pay Rate: $26.00 per hour
