Indera is seeking a Direct Support Professional (DSP) to provide Community Habilitation services in the Liverpool area to a gentleman in his late-20s with a developmental disability. He and his family are looking for a dedicated DSP to provide support and assist him with working on his goals, both at home and in community settings. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, assisting him to pursue his hobbies and interests by accompanying and supporting him during community outings; helping him to gain independent living skills and providing transportation. We are looking for individuals who are dependable, patient and enthusiastic. Prior experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities a plus. Reliable transportation and a is required.

Background check, fingerprinting and DMV record check will be conducted prior to hire by the non-profit agency.

Schedule:

One weekday afternoon and one weekend afternoon per week.

Approximately 8-12 hours per week.

Flexible schedule to be determined with the family.

Pay Rate:

$25 per hour.
