Self-Direction DSP - Syracuse Area (Job #SSMC-RB)

Indera (formerly ARISE/EFR)is seeking a Direct Support Professional (DSP) to work in the Syracuse area with a man who has a physical disability and utilizes a wheelchair. He is looking for dedicated support staff to provide Respite and assist him with personal care tasks.

Looking for an individual who is dependable, patient and enthusiastic. Prior experience working with individuals with disabilities a plus.

Driver's license and reliable transportation are required. Background check, fingerprinting and DMV record check will be conducted prior to hire by the non-profit agency.

Hours:

• Saturday and Sunday: 10:00am-12:00pm.
• Ability to fill in for weekday Respite and Community Habilitation staff, as needed and during vacations, a plus.

Pay rate: $22.50 per hour
