1:1 Part-Time Support Staff Needed – Syracuse, NY (WRF – AR)
A 21-year-old male is looking for a respite provider to assist him in exploring his community, making new connections and learn communication skills. He enjoys going to familiar places in the community such as chuck-e-cheese, Dave & Busters, the mall and out to eat. He is open to exploring new experiences with staff support.
The family would prefer to have a male candidate but is open to a female DSP. The ideal candidate would be aware of activities available in Syracuse and encourage him to try new things.
This is a part-time position, but additional hours are available with other people receiving services.

Hours and days of work: Monday-Friday 10a-2pm with flexibility for weekends and other times. Average 20 hours per week.
Starting pay: Starting pay is $19.25/hour and increases with years of relevant experience.
Location: Syracuse, NY
Qualifications:
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Ability to work independently in the person’s home and/or community.
- Reliable with effective communication and organizational skills
- No experience required but experience working with people with disabilities preferred.
- New York State Driver's license, reliable transportation, and proof of auto insurance is required; acceptable driving record required.
- Must have technology available to download multiple apps for use in the community.
