COMMERCIAL PLANNING DIRECTOR
The Commercial Planning Director leads the development and execution of the integrated commercial planning process, translating business strategy into actionable growth plans that align suppliers, customers, sales, marketing, finance, and supply chain. This role is responsible for driving portfolio, customer, channel, pricing, promotion, and demand planning strategies while ensuring cross-functional alignment through the S&OP process to deliver sustainable revenue growth, profitability, and operational excellence. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop and execute business development strategies, increase market share, and enhance brand awareness and equity in the USA market.
Your responsibilities will be:
- Lead the annual and quarterly commercial planning process, ensuring alignment between corporate objectives, supplier strategies, customer priorities, and market opportunities.
- Develop integrated growth plans by customer, channel, category, and brand, including sales targets, promotional investments, pricing strategies, and innovation initiatives.
- Own the commercial calendar and planning cadence, coordinating key business reviews, forecasting cycles, and cross-functional planning activities.
- Partner with Brand Management, Sales, Trade Marketing, Finance, and Supply Chain to create a consensus demand plan and support effective S&OP decision-making.
- Identify growth opportunities through market analysis, customer insights, portfolio optimization, and commercial performance assessments.
- Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate business performance, forecast accuracy, promotional effectiveness, market share, and profitability.
- Lead scenario planning and risk assessments to proactively address supply constraints, market changes, and business opportunities.
- Drive continuous improvement of commercial planning capabilities, tools, processes, and analytics to enhance decision quality and organizational effectiveness.
- Strengthen collaboration with strategic suppliers and retail partners by translating joint business objectives into actionable commercial plans.
