Director, Consumer Lending (AI / Data and Automation)
A rare opportunity has arisen for a Director and Team Head of Consumer Lending (Personal Loans) at an established Consumer bank. Your role will be to provide overall strategic leadership and strategy utilizing Data, AI and Automation, with the goal of becoming the bank of choice for Retail Banking and Unsecured Lending clients in Hong Kong.
Job Duties & Responsibilities:
- Provide overall strategic leadership, KPI setting and driving Unsecured Lending / Personal Lending in Hong Kong, in particular for Personal Loan business
- Lead a Personal Loans Section and tactfully work across all stakeholders for internal approval in order to execute transactions,
- Complete various reports for senior management / CE including pipeline forecasting and monthly cross-selling income and deal tracking
- Provide oversight and be accountable to the account opening process including any necessary documentation for new and existing accounts;
Requirements:
- 18+ years Unsecured Lending / Personal Loan / Retail Banking experience from a major reputable banking institution, with a minimum of 10 years management experience
- Exceptional leadership capabilities and management track record
- Experience in Unsecured Lending Products and track record in the growth of a portfolio, in particular Retail Banking Banking segment clients
- Experience with Data, Decision Science and / or Automation
- Product knowledge in loans and cross-selling;
- Strong Academics from a reputable University
- Excellent communication and presentation skills in English, Cantonese and Mandarin
