Job Overview

Gorilla Technology is seeking a highly experienced Director, Data Center Infrastructure Engineering to serve as the company's senior advisor and thought leader for hyperscale, AI, cloud, and mission-critical infrastructure programs. The role will provide strategic guidance, technical consultation, industry expertise, and customer-facing leadership across all phases of data center development and infrastructure planning. The successful candidate will act as a trusted advisor to customers, partners, and internal teams while helping Gorilla strengthen its position within the rapidly growing AI and digital infrastructure market. This position is focused on influence, expertise, and advisory leadership rather than operational ownership or governance.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Advisory

• Advise customers and internal stakeholders on hyperscale and AI data center strategies.

• Provide guidance on site selection, campus development, utility power, connectivity, and infrastructure planning.

• Support infrastructure assessments and strategic planning initiatives.

Industry Expertise

• Maintain awareness of emerging trends in AI infrastructure, hyperscale development, liquid cooling, power strategy, and sustainability.

• Apply industry best practices and lessons learned from large-scale infrastructure programs.

Customer Engagement

• Participate in customer workshops, and strategic planning sessions.

• Support solution development and customer pursuits.

• Help customers understand infrastructure risks, opportunities, and technology trends.

• Build trusted relationships with customers, developers, engineering firms, and technology partners.

Technical Consultation

• Review infrastructure concepts, designs, and recommendations.

• Provide advisory input on electrical, mechanical, cooling, resiliency, and AI infrastructure requirements.

• Assist teams in evaluating technical options and tradeoffs.

Internal Enablement

• Mentor delivery and solution teams on data center infrastructure concepts.

• Help develop service offerings and go-to-market strategies.

• Share industry knowledge and best practices across the organization.

Qualifications

• At least 20+ years of experience in data center, mission-critical infrastructure, engineering, construction, or infrastructure development.

• Experience supporting hyperscale, cloud, colocation, or large-scale infrastructure programs.

• Strong understanding of Data center development, campus planning, Utility power infrastructure, Electrical and mechanical systems, Cooling technologies, Cooling technologies and AI-ready facilities

• Demonstrated ability to engage with executive stakeholders and technical leaders.

• Based in Bangkok and willing to travel to project locations as required.
