POSITION | Director –
ERP
Key Responsibilities
- Own the ERP roadmap: architecture, data model, and the sequence in which capabilities get built
- Map end-to-end user journeys across student, faculty, and administrative workflows, and identify where the current system creates friction.
- Work directly with UI/UX to design interfaces that are usable by non-technical stakeholders — faculty, wardens, admissions staff
- Translate requirements from stakeholders across schools and functions into technical specifications
- Lead and mentor the existing developer team; assign and review work against the architecture plan
- Set technical standards for the ERP: data integrity, integrations, scalability as the university grows
- Build and maintain an action plan with clear milestones, not just an open-ended backlog
- Evaluate build-vs-buy decisions for specific modules where relevant
- 10 - 12 years of experience in software/product architecture, with direct experience owning an ERP or comparable internal platform
- Demonstrated ability to think in systems — someone who can look at a messy, partially-built ERP and see the clean architecture underneath it
- Working fluency in UI/UX principles, even if not a hands-on designer — able to brief and evaluate design work
- Experience managing developers and translating stakeholder needs into technical execution
- Prior experience in EdTech, higher education, or a similarly multi-stakeholder environment is a strong plus
- Comfortable being the technical decision-maker in a room full of non-technical stakeholders
Heads the RishiVerse Tech team; reports to the COO's office.
