As the Director, Head of Total Rewards, you will be the chief architect of our employee value proposition. Reporting directly to the Chief People Officer, you will lead the strategic design,implementation, and administration of our global compensation, benefits, and recognition programs. You will ensure our reward systems are competitive, equitable, and data-driven to attract and retain top talent in the high-growth wealth management industry.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategy & Leadership: Develop and execute a holistic Total Rewards strategy that aligns with EP Wealth’s business objectives and reinforces our brand as an employer of choice.
  • Compensation Design: Lead the design and administration of all compensation programs, including salary structures, executive, equity and complex incentive compensation plans, ensuring pay is tightly linked to performance.
  • Benefits Management: Oversee our comprehensive benefits suite, including subsidized health insurance, mental health plans, 401(k) with company match, and wellness reimbursements.
  • Market Intelligence: Conduct regular benchmarking and market analysis to ensure our programs remain competitive within the financial services and wealth management sectors.
  • Compliance & Governance: Ensure all programs comply with federal, state, and local regulations (e.g., FLSA, ERISA, EEO-1 reporting).
  • Advisor to Leadership: Provide strategic counsel to senior leadership and the Compensation Committee on executive compensation and emerging reward trends,ensuring programs are aligned with business priorities and talent strategies.
  • Communication: Develop clear communication strategies to help employees understand and value their full rewards package.
