Director HRBP Engineering

You will serve as the strategic people partner for the R&D organization, working closely with senior technical leaders to evolve the organization during an AI-driven transformation. You will lead organizational design and change management, develop workforce and talent strategies, coach leaders on performance and organizational health, and use people analytics to identify risks and guide decisions. You will also help shape technical career frameworks, operating rhythms, cultural standards, and accountability practices across a global organization.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a strategic people partner to the Head of R&D and senior R&D leadership
• Lead organizational design and change management across R&D
• Drive the people side of AI transformation and evolve technical career frameworks and leveling
• Own workforce planning, succession planning, critical-role identification, and retention strategies for R&D
• Partner with R&D leadership and Finance on organizational design and headcount decisions
• Coach senior technical leaders on organizational health, performance management, team effectiveness, and employee relations
• Redefine R&D operating rhythms and cultural standards
• Use people analytics to diagnose organizational health, identify attrition risks, and surface trends

Requirements

• 10+ years of progressive HR or People experience
• At least 5 years as a strategic HRBP supporting engineering, R&D, or deeply technical global organizations
• Experience supporting high-growth technology companies with strong engineering cultures
• Experience scaling an R&D organization through rapid growth
• Understanding of technical organization operations, engineering workflows, product development lifecycles, and AI-driven changes to work
• Executive coaching, analytical, and influencing capabilities
