Director

GENERAL SUMMARY:

The Perioperative Services Director oversees the safe and efficient delivery of care throughout the continuum of care, including the surgery clinic, perioperative areas, anesthesia, and sterile processing. The Director ensures alignment with the department's and the organization's vision, mission, and values. The Director is competent to perform the duties of a staff RN. He is familiar with the business, regulatory, and personnel management aspects of a surgery department, including efficiency and best practices, state and federal regulations, quality measures, performance management, discipline, budgeting, staffing, and process improvement. The Director demonstrates excellence in customer service during interactions with patients, families, and other customers. They work collaboratively with colleagues/clinic staff and departments throughout the organization to provide optimal outcomes for our patients in a compassionate, professional, ethical, and knowledgeable fashion. Maintains a safe and clean environment for the care of the patient(s), employees, and public.
