Director, Laboratory Services

Education Requirements: ● Bachelor’s degree in medical technology, medical laboratory science, or related science Credential Requirements: ● Certified through the American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP) Professional Experience Requirements: ● Seven (7) years of experience in lab; Five (5) years’ experience in leadership Knowledge/Skills/and Abilities Requirements: Strong generalist lab knowledge and skill to include core lab, microbiology, and blood bank. Able to work in a collaborative and multidisciplinary environment. Interpersonal communication skills necessary to work with hospital team members, physicians, patients, and community professionals. Experience with phlebotomy oversight preferred. Experience with CAP accreditation expected.
