Senior Director, Cyber Threat Intelligence Embedded Advisor Program
Kroll's Cyber Threat Intelligence (CTI) team is seeking an experienced and strategic leader to establish, lead, and scale our Embedded Advisor Program within the Cyber & Data Resilience practice. This highly visible leadership role will be responsible for integrating intelligence-driven advisory capabilities across Kroll's Retainer Services, Cyber Advisory, Incident Response, Managed Detection and Response (MDR), and Business Development functions.
The Senior Director will oversee a team of Embedded Advisors responsible for delivering actionable intelligence, executive-level threat insights, industry-specific intelligence reporting, and strategic cyber risk guidance that enhances client outcomes and accelerates business growth. This individual will serve as a trusted advisor to clients, executive leadership, and internal stakeholders while driving the strategic evolution of Kroll's intelligence-led cybersecurity offerings.

Key Responsibilities
Embedded Advisor Program Leadership
- Establish and lead Kroll's Embedded Advisor Program as a strategic capability within the Cyber Threat Intelligence organization.
- Build, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of Senior Advisors and Embedded Intelligence Consultants.
- Develop operational frameworks, governance structures, service delivery models, and quality standards.
- Define performance objectives, delivery methodologies, and utilization strategies.
- Oversee workforce planning, resource allocation, hiring, onboarding, and professional development.
- Establish succession planning and leadership development pathways.
- Foster collaboration across Cyber Threat Intelligence, Incident Response, MDR, Cyber Advisory, and Retainer Services teams.
- Serve as the senior escalation point for intelligence-related client engagements.
Strategic Client Advisory & Executive Engagement
- Serve as a trusted advisor to executive stakeholders, boards of directors, and senior leadership teams.
- Deliver executive-level threat briefings, cyber risk presentations, and strategic intelligence assessments.
- Support key client engagements, account retention initiatives, and executive relationship management activities.
- Translate complex intelligence findings into business-relevant risk discussions and actionable recommendations.
- Advise clients on emerging cyber threats, geopolitical developments, cybercrime activity, and industry-specific risks.
- Support strategic accounts requiring senior-level intelligence expertise.
- Lead executive workshops, cyber tabletop exercises, and intelligence-driven risk discussions.
Retainer Services Enablement
Partner closely with Retainer Services leadership to support the continued evolution and growth of Kroll's Retainer 2.0 offering by:
- Delivering quarterly intelligence reviews and executive threat briefings.
- Producing industry-specific cyber threat intelligence reporting.
- Supporting strategic cyber risk discussions with client leadership.
- Creating intelligence products that improve client engagement, retention, and satisfaction.
- Enabling Retainer Services personnel through intelligence-focused education and training.
- Developing scalable intelligence delivery models that support growth while maintaining operational efficiency.
Sales & Revenue Growth Leadership
- Partner with Sales Leadership, Account Management, and Business Development teams to integrate intelligence throughout the client acquisition lifecycle.
- Lead intelligence support for strategic pursuits and high-value opportunities.
- Develop intelligence-led sales methodologies that differentiate Kroll in competitive markets.
- Support proposal development, RFP responses, executive presentations, and competitive positioning initiatives.
- Provide sector-specific intelligence insights that align cyber risk with business objectives.
- Develop metrics demonstrating intelligence-driven commercial impact and revenue contribution.
- Support cross-selling opportunities, account expansion strategies, and client growth initiatives.
- Identify and develop new intelligence-based service offerings and revenue opportunities.
Thought Leadership & Market Engagement
- Represent Kroll at industry conferences, executive forums, webinars, and client events.
- Contribute to thought leadership publications, threat intelligence reports, and market-facing research.
- Partner with Marketing and Business Development teams to enhance Kroll's visibility and market positioning.
- Serve as a recognized leader in intelligence-driven cyber resilience and risk management.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, Intelligence Studies, Business, or a related field; equivalent experience will be considered.
- 10+ years of experience in Cyber Threat Intelligence, Incident Response, Cyber Risk Advisory, or related cybersecurity disciplines.
- 5+ years of leadership experience managing, developing, and scaling high-performing teams.
- Significant client-facing consulting, advisory, or professional services experience.
- Demonstrated experience leading executive and board-level cyber risk discussions.
- Strong understanding of cyber threat actors, attack methodologies, cybercrime ecosystems, and intelligence operations.
- Experience integrating intelligence into business strategy, client advisory services, and cybersecurity programs.
- Proven ability to influence revenue growth, service development, client retention, and strategic business initiatives.
- Exceptional written, verbal, presentation, and executive communication skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience within a global consulting, cybersecurity, professional services, or risk advisory organization.
- Experience supporting cyber incident response investigations and breach analytics.
- Demonstrated success supporting business development, pre-sales activities, and strategic pursuits.
- Experience developing threat intelligence products, managed services, or advisory offerings.
- Experience leading geographically distributed or embedded consulting teams.
- Advanced degree in Cybersecurity, Intelligence Studies, Business Administration, or related discipline.
- Relevant certifications including CISSP, GCTI, GIAC, CISM, PMP, GCFA, GREM, or similar credentials.
