Director of AI Algorithms

Job Responsibilities

Lead innovative LLM-powered applications for social use cases, including AIGC content generation, AI translation, image/video generation, real-time AI beauty enhancement, and AI avatar chat assistants. Deliver at least two production deployments with measurable business impact and user value.

Build high-quality vertical-domain text corpora, perform efficient fine-tuning on foundation models, optimize prompt engineering, and design robust, generalizable prompt templates and dialogue frameworks.

Select and deploy vector databases for LLMs. Own dataset extraction, cleaning and structuring for RAG pipelines, and develop knowledge graphs for GraphRAG, covering construction, updates and inference.

Continuously tune and evaluate generative models across dimensions: accuracy, safety, consistency, latency and cost, with scenario-specific adaptation. Work with RAG/GraphRAG, prompt engineering, SFT, small-model training, model pruning/quantization/distillation and RLHF.

Track global AI research and industry trends to sustain technical leadership in model architecture, engineering and commercialization. Lead the AIGC team to convert advanced AI capabilities into core competitive advantages and revenue for social products.

Job Requirements

Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Mathematics, AI, Machine Learning or related fields. 5+ years of hands-on AI algorithm R&D and engineering experience. Proven 0-to-1 AI delivery in real business settings is preferred.

Have led or deeply contributed to large model training, fine-tuning and large-scale deployment. Practical experience in RAG/GraphRAG, knowledge graphs, prompt engineering and model memory augmentation required. Possess systematic knowledge of LLM fundamentals, training paradigms and technology roadmaps.

Skilled in large-scale data preprocessing, feature engineering and data cleaning. Experience training, deploying and optimizing models on AWS, GCP, Alibaba Cloud or on-prem GPU clusters.

Preferred: 0-to-1 AI product launches serving millions of users, especially for social, content or interactive products. AI+social industry experience is highly preferred.

Deep expertise in NLP and CV core algorithms. Mastery of Transformer architecture and variants; familiar with CNN, GAN and their generative use cases. Understand commercial AI feasibility testing, risk management and compliance boundaries.

Strong technical acumen and strategic thinking, with enthusiasm for AGI. Keep up with cutting-edge papers and open-source projects to explore technical frontiers. Fluent written and reading English, proficient Mandarin; able to collaborate efficiently with cross-functional teams.
