Director of Business Development (24413)

NewBe an early applicant

AMA Consulting Group

We're not looking for a salesperson. We're looking for a trusted advisor who knows how to close.

At AMA Consulting Group, business development is about far more than winning contracts. It's about building meaningful relationships, understanding complex organizational challenges, and helping leaders create lasting impact in the communities they serve.

As our next Director of Business Development, you'll engage with executive leaders at housing authorities, government agencies, and industry organizations long before an RFP is released. You'll earn trust through thoughtful conversations, strategic insight, and a deep understanding of the issues shaping the affordable housing and public sector landscape.

But make no mistake, this role also requires a proven closer. Success means translating strong relationships into strategic opportunities, securing contracts, and driving sustainable growth for the firm. You understand how to navigate complex procurement environments, position solutions effectively, and guide opportunities from initial conversation through contract award.

We're seeking a professional who thrives in executive level discussions, enjoys solving complex problems, and knows how to balance consultative relationship-building with business results. You'll serve as a connector, strategist, advisor, and dealmaker, helping organizations identify solutions that strengthen performance, increase effectiveness, and advance their missions.

This role is about more than revenue, but revenue matters. The ideal candidate will become a trusted partner to organizations across the country while consistently converting opportunities into long-term client relationships and contract wins.

If you have experience in affordable housing, government consulting, or a related field, and you're passionate about building trust, creating value, and winning business, we'd love to start a conversation with you.
