Director of Clinical Operations

Purpose of the Position:
The Director of Clinical Operations is a senior leadership role responsible for planning, implementing, and evaluating all clinical services to include education, training, quality improvement, patient safety and regulatory compliance. They will utilize a clinical lens to provide visionary leadership and strategic planning to ensure excellence is embedded across the continuum of care – from the hospital to the home.
Responsibilities (fundamental job duties):
· Provide overall coordination, support, and guidance to clinical team members to enhance knowledge sharing and improve efficiencies across various markets and territories.
· Collaborate with clinical team members to develop effective training and implementation plans that optimize workflows and provide a positive customer experience.
· Oversee clinical project management and process improvement by estimating and allocating resources, developing attainable timelines, and establishing accountability through project completion.
· Co-develop budgets and financial oversight of clinical operations to ensure ROI.
· Determine and ensure accountability of meeting clinical operation KPI’s.
· Serve as a liaison and collaborate with cross functional teams to include training, regulatory, complaints and quality to ensure adherence to compliance requirements.
· Partner with marketing to ensure accurate clinical translation in all training and customer facing materials.
· Collaborate with regional sales managers to secure an effective implementation handoff to the clinical team.
· Coordinate and oversee new employee onboarding to include ongoing support and identification of training needs.
· Collaborate with the executive leadership team to determine the need for clinical representation on new business initiatives.
· Keep abreast of the standards of practice and ensure evidenced based research is clinically translated throughout the entire product development continuum.
· Serve as a subject matter expert on all products and solutions representing Eitan Medical as a global leader at infusion industry events.
· Demonstrate forward-thinking by providing strategic direction towards evolving markets within the specialty practice of infusion therapy.
· Provide effective coaching, mentoring and professional development opportunities for all clinical team members to ensure continued growth and success.

Requirements
Job Requirements:
Education: Advanced degree in healthcare required.
Experience Requirements:
· Minimum 10 years of healthcare experience providing safe, effective care across multiple disciplines.
- Certified RN with updated requirements and appropriate licenses
· Minimum 3 years of experience demonstrating successful management of clinical teams across multiple disciplines.
· Experience working with PC based applications (Windows, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) is required.
· Previous experience collaborating with senior executives and stakeholders.
- Medical device or infusion pump background strongly preferrred
· Strong understanding of standards of practice and regulations in the infusion industry.
- Proficient in company-wide project management to include superior organizational skills.
- Proficient in strategic thinking to include effective negotiating and influencing.
· Professional written and verbal communication skills to include presenting to large audiences.
· Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively engage with customers and team members from all markets on a global scale.
· Travel 20-40%
