Director of Commerce & Marketing - CHMO

This executive leadership position will oversee the property's integrated commercial strategy, driving revenue growth, market positioning, profitability and long-term business performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the hotel's overall commercial strategy, integrating Sales, Marketing, Revenue Management and Distribution.
• Drive revenue growth and optimize RevPAR, ADR, occupancy, total revenue, GOP and market share.
• Lead, mentor and develop high-performing commercial teams.
• Oversee annual commercial budgets, business plans, marketing strategies and revenue forecasts.
• Identify business opportunities across Corporate, MICE, Leisure and luxury lifestyle segments.
• Strengthen brand positioning through strategic partnerships, marketing initiatives and public relations.
• Collaborate with Operations and Finance to ensure alignment between commercial objectives and overall hotel performance.
• Represent the property at international trade shows, industry events and strategic business meetings.

Candidate Requirements

• Minimum 5–7 years of sales leadership experience within luxury hospitality, preferably with international hotel brands.
• Proven ability to lead commercial teams and implement successful revenue-generating strategies.
• Strong understanding of Sales, Marketing, Revenue Management and Distribution.
• Experience across Corporate, MICE and Leisure market segments.
• Excellent financial acumen, analytical skills and strategic decision-making abilities.
• Strong business development, negotiation and key account management skills.
• Fluency in English and Spanish is required.
• Willingness to travel internationally when required.
• A degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, Marketing or a related field is preferred.
