Director of Communications
You will develop and execute communications and media strategies, lead corporate and business communications, and support client publicity. You will craft messaging, manage media relations for major events, secure placements, oversee junior colleagues, and improve communications systems and processes.
Responsibilities

- Lead global football communications and support sports clients
- Manage corporate, business, and internal communications
- Secure speaking opportunities, awards, and media placements
- Craft internal and external messaging
- Manage and support junior colleagues
- Create pitches, press releases, media advisories, newsletters, memos, talking points, and social copy
- Serve as a spokesperson and lead media relations for events
- Manage media monitoring, media training, content, templates, and digital assets
Requirements
- 8–10 years of experience in public relations, communications, journalism, or marketing
- Experience with professional sports leagues, athletes, teams, public figures, brands, agencies, or media companies
- Knowledge of media relations, corporate communications, internal communications, and crisis communications
- Experience with high-profile events, campaigns, and public announcements
- Writing, editing, public-speaking, presentation, and pitching skills
- Experience securing national media coverage
