Job Description

We’re looking for an accomplished, relationship-drivenSales Director — Community Growth & Development to lead our growth strategy in Fairfield, NJ.
This is a highly visible leadership role for a sales professional who knows how to build a market, develop strategic relationships, generate new business, and turn those relationships into measurable revenue growth. At the same time, this role goes beyond traditional sales: you’ll serve as a key ambassador for our organization, strengthening our presence in the community and building lasting relationships with clients, referral partners, and other key stakeholders.
If you’re energized by business development, relationship building, community engagement, and hitting measurable growth targets, this could be an excellent opportunity to make a meaningful impact.
What You’ll Do
As Sales Director — Community Growth & Development, you will:
• Own sales and growth initiatives designed to increase revenue, expand market presence, and achieve established business objectives.
• Develop and execute a strategic business-development plan, identifying target markets, prospects, referral opportunities, and partnership opportunities.
• Build and cultivate referral relationships with key community partners, organizations, businesses, and other sources of new business.
• Generate and manage a strong pipeline of prospects, using proactive outreach, networking, referrals, events, and other sales strategies.
• Strengthen existing client relationships to support retention, referrals, additional business opportunities, and long-term partnerships.
• Represent the organization in the community, attending networking events, industry functions, community activities, and other opportunities that increase visibility and strengthen relationships.
• Track and communicate sales and growth performance, using key metrics to identify opportunities, adjust strategy, and consistently work toward revenue goals.
• Partner closely with leadership and internal teams to ensure that growth initiatives align with organizational priorities and deliver a strong client experience.
What Success Looks Like
In this role, success means more than simply closing sales. You will be successful when you have:
• Built a strong and growing network of referral and community relationships
• Created a healthy, measurable sales pipeline
• Consistently generated new business opportunities
• Increased revenue and market presence
• Strengthened relationships with existing clients and partners
• Established a recognizable and trusted presence in the local community
• Created a repeatable approach to sales and community-driven growth
Why This Role
• This is an opportunity to take ownership of growth while making a visible impact on the organization and the community it serves.
• You’ll have the opportunity to combine sales leadership, business development, strategic relationship building, and community engagement—with clear expectations around measurable growth.
