Director Of Day Services

Pay: $70,000-$75,000 Annually (depending on related experience)

Nature of work:

Coordination and administration of the direct operations and physical plants and of the Day Services Programs. Collaborates with the Executive Vice President, Community and Habilitation Services, on the development and adherence to annual operating budgets. Interfaces with local and state OPWDD personnel relative to the operations of the day services programs, as well as new program development. Participates with other agency administrators in the development of agency policy and procedures.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited program in human service field, including but not limited to sociology, special education, rehabilitation, counseling, psychology or a bachelor’s degree to qualify as QIDP. Three (3) year’s supervisory work experience within an OPWDD-regulated setting

• Minimum Requirements: Associate's degree from an accredited program in the human services field, including, but not limited to, sociology, education, psychology, recreation, physical therapy, occupational therapy, nursing, etc. Three (3) years’ work experience with the developmentally disabled, and five (5) years management/supervisory experience within an OPWDD-regulated setting, or a High School diploma, five (5) years’ work experience with the developmentally disabled and five (5) years management/supervisory experience.

• A current, valid driver’s license and Agency insurability is required.
