Director of Delivery – Roadside Tolling

Day in the Life:

• Direct and Deliver Services to Client: Provide day-to-day contracted services to external clients. Contracted services may include technical or non-technical customer support, transaction processing and sales & marketing services. Leading the delivery of the customer contract and relationship as a strategic partner to meet contractual obligations and provide best in class service delivery operations. Driving contractual performance measures and operational profitability. Overall function/account governance and adherence.
• Successful deliverables through execution, develop functional departmental business plans and contributes to the development of strategy.
• Decisions are guided by client areas of focus / strategy and priorities.
• Accountable for functional, operational and project management for multiple projects

Knowledge/ Business Expertise / Impact:

• Achieves goals through the work of others. Defines KPIs and operational priorities in line with customer priorities and organizational metrics.
• Management responsibilities include performance appraisals, pay reviews, training, and development for three or more employees.
• Requires broad technical expertise and company/industry knowledge in Transportation and Road Usage Charging.
• Accountable for functional, operational and/or program management. Provides leadership and direction through managers.
• Management responsibilities include hiring & terminating decisions, performance appraisals, pay reviews, training, and development for three or more employees.
• Develops functional or departmental business plans and contributes to the development of business strategy management. Decisions are guided by area strategy and priorities.

Leadership Management:

• Performance appraisals, pay reviews, training, and development for three or more employees. Responsibilities include hiring and terminating decisions. Inspires people and teams to optimize career growth, employee engagement and performance.
• Leads the overall business unit performance and client relationship. This includes innovation and efficiencies of key business opportunities to drive organizational growth.
• Directs the resolution of highly complex or unusual business problems applying advanced analytical thought and judgment.
• Negotiates and influences the opinions of others within the business unit and in external organizations, exercises sensitivity to the audience.

Requirements:

• Roadside Tolling experience.
• Director in project management experience.
• P&L background experience.
• Transportation, or Tolling background.
• Technical expertise in transportation is a must have.
• Taking ownership for planning, implementing and successful delivery of Tolling projects, refresh, and retrofits.
